Inbound EBACE Geneva a stop was made at Ramstein. We first had a look in the east-end where the below C-130s were identified.
We stayed for around an hour (0800-0900L) with no activity. As we left a World MD11 came in.
22/05/2007 Ramstein AFB, (RMS / ETAR)

89-1185 C-130H Hercules TN ANG Tennessee - red
92-1533 C-130H Hercules WY ANG Wyoming - yellow

As there were less activity than we expected we decided to make the trip to Landstuhl where 4 of 6 helicopters were identified around 1030L.

88-26020 Sikorsky UH-60A Blackhawk US Army/Med
88-26073 Sikorsky UH-60A Blackhawk US Army/Med
From Landstuhl we continued to the Bismarkturm and when we got to the top (around 1100L) a C-17 just arrived and another was on approach... Nice!

Just checked my pix and read of the UH-60 that came in at 13.40 hours
It looks like it is the 86-24500 (the damn things are hard to read but im 90% sure it is this one)
That make,s it a rare one as it must be a UH-60Q a Medevac version from CECAT whatever this unit is ?
So perhaps anybody couldt confirm ?!?
