Well, for the Atlas that's what happened and it's intended destination at the time of departure, followed by a flight to CYOW-CFB Uplands, ONT from Prestwick, but as Neil has pointed out, this did not happen.

The Hercules C.4 is one of two RAF Hercules on Exercise Chameleon 1/21, mainly out of Leuchars, which is now into it's third week. The other RAF C-130 is C.4 ZH879.

It did a 180 over Derby and returned to Brize. Was supposed to be going to Prestwick so I heard.

From ADS-B, Hercules ZH866 OMEN02 about to land at just after 14:00. Point of departure is Leuchars Station (EGQL).

OMEN02 did an engines running turn-around and flew up to RAF Leeming (EGXE).
