In this video a Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) KDC-10 is shown leaving Eindhoven Air Base in dense fog. The aircraft was on its way to France to Nimes-Garons Airport where the aircraft would receive some maintenance. This KDC-10 T-235 is the last of its kind in the Netherlands and in Europe. The aircraft will be replaced soon by the Airbus A330 MRTT of the MMU which is also based at Eindhoven. The fog was so dense that the aircraft disappeared immediately after take of in the low hanging cloud base. Enjoy the sound of these characteristic engines of this legend of aviation!!!
