New residents for the 352nd SOG

Arriving from Lajes on Wednesday 20th Jamuary was new MC-130J for the 67th SOS in the shape of 09-6207 calling WANDA51.

Due today are new CV-22Bs 08-0042 and 08-0047 (serial as per plan) as KONA81 and 82 from LFBC. These replace 08-0050 and 08-0051 which departed on the 16th as KONA81 and 82.

and confirmed as 09-0042 on arrival at Mildenhall (full serial worn on tail apparently!).

Late last month (January) MC-130J 10-5714 departed here, and was seen transiting Bermuda heading westbound, and today, 20th February this bird arrived at U-Tapao RTNS, Thailand calling MEGA69, along other 17th SOS MC-130Js, including 08-6202 calling MEGA68. This is another new acquisition for the 17th SOS.

New MC-130J 13-5776 arrived from KBGR at 09:48 LT today as ZELDA19. This is ex 17th SOS,353rd SOG from Kadena AB. The serial on the plan was 13-5793, another 17th SOS MC-130J.

This is the third new MC-130J for the 67th SOS, the others being 08-6205 and 09-6207.

It appears one of the recent CV-22B arrivals is 10-0053 from it's hex code, which was flying for the first time since delivery today, 25th February. The other delivery was (IIRC) 11-0057, which is a former 352nd SOW resident here.
