Donauwoerth (Airbus) EDPR 2021 (CIV+MIL)
LOG Donauwoerth 13-01-2021
79+60 NH.90NFH Marine, production flight as "Redfox 2"; factory code NGEN010
79+61 NH.90NFH Marine, still under construction and moved from one spot to another in hangar F8
84+38 CH-53G Lw/HSG 64, maintenance visitor, outside for some tests
85+01 CH-53GA Lw/HSG64, maintenance visitor, checkflight as "Redfox 3"
89+63 SeaKing Mk.41 Marine/MFG5, maintenance visitor, outside and later towed into E7
[98+51]/(=79+51) NH.90NFH Marine, outside in front of F8; factory code NGEN001
[98+..] Tiger UHT Heer, was noted on the ramp from the street when I arrived but was gone when I arrived at the fence.
[D-HADA] BK.117D3 primer (c/n 21003), production flight as "Redfox 25"
[D-HADF] BK.117D2m Heer/SAR fl., flown over from Augsburg as "Redfox 9" and disappeared in C7a. (77+06 overtaped, c/n 20281)
[D-HADH] BK.117D2m Hung. AF (to become "20", c/n 20348); production flight as "Redfox 14"
[D-HADK] BK.117D. r/bk c/s. On position 1 in hangar D10 was this helicopter, still with wrapped rotorhead like it was noted last autumn.
[D-HBTJ] BK.117D2m Heer (camo c/s); outside, later disappeared somewhere in the production area; c/n 20342. Missing rotors.
[D-HCBD] EC.135P3H SMURD, engine test (c/n 2123)
[D-HCBK] EC.135.3H operator ?, the metallic 135 noted in mid december is still not delivered as thought but returned to testflying. Unfortunately c/n again not known.
D-HCBS BK.117D2m Airbus; two training or demonstration flights as "Redfox 6"
[D-HCBV] BK.117D3 all white c/s (outside for calibration tests). This one must be one of three owned by NHV Helicopters of Belgium but leased to the Luftwaffe at Laupheim for training purposes. Two of them (in the same colours) have been delivered to Laupheim / HSG64 some days ago.
One of them is D2 model D-HNHX (c/n 20221, ex OO-NST), the other one, a D3 model received registration D-HNHV (so should be ex D-HMBF). Maybe D-HCBV will become D-HNHW, but time will tell.
[D-HCBW] BK.117D2m FA Ecuatoriana (outside, later towed into D10). Now the last one is outside! c/n is unknown by now.
[D-HCBX] EC.135P3H SMURD, arrived from Ingolstadt as "Redfox 20"
[D-HECJ] EC.135P3H SMURD, towed outside (c/n 2142)
--- BK.117D3 primer (c/n 21019). This unmarked, incomplete frame was towed into the production area
A promising start for 2021!
As usual, I will upload some pictures in my Google photo album:

LOG Donauwoerth 20-01-21
1430/EBO NH.90TTH ALAT arrived as "FMY8081" and was parked in front of F8. No idea what it was doing here, but it is a quite unusual visitor for this place.
84+14 CH-53GS Lw/HSG64; maintenance visitor and parked in E7
84+38 CH-53G Lw/HSG64; maintenance visitor, parked outside
84+52 CH-53GS Lw/HSG64; maintenance visitor and outside for engine test
84+99 CH-53GA Lw/HSG64; maintenance visitor, parked outside
85+01 CH-53G Lw/HSG64; maintenance visitor, towed outside of E7
[98+51] NH.90NFH Marine; outside and later back into F8
[D-H....] 03 BK.117D2 Policija Ukraina; actually I didn`t see it by myself, but a friend reported that it was towed from F8 into another hangar
[D-H..E] 05 BK.117D2 Policija Ukraina; was towed from the production area into the backpart of hangar D10. Disappeared in the hangar before I was able to safely confirm the test reg.
[D-HADA] BK.1178D3 primer (c/n 21003). Parked on the ramp, later into C7
[D-HADJ] BK.117D3 primer (c/n 21004). Towed outside for engine test
[D-HADU] BK.117D2m Hungarian AF, noted in the back of a hangar, behind the SMURD EC135. Actually only "19" was read off.
[D-HBTA] BK.117D2m Heer (camo). Noted together with a second, unidentified Heer H145M also in the western part of F8
[D-HCBB] EC.135.3H a/wh. Noted in the western part of hangar F8 (c/n 2097)
[D-HCBF] EC.135.3H primer (c/n 2114). Flew in the morning and was moved into the hangar to the west of D10
[D-HCBW] BK.117D2m FA Ecuatoriana. Finally I have good news for us! First I can add the c/n (20358) for this frame and when the heli later performed a production flight ("Redfox 11") it came very close so that I was able to make a detail shot of the tail section where the future serial was readable "FAE1256" under the sticker. Since 20358 should be the last one it could well be that the serial range for the six aircraft is from 1251-1256. No confirmation though!
[D-HCBZ] BK.117D2 wh/bl c/s.(c/n 20337). Towed from the western area into production area. This heli was first noted in September 2020 and not delivered by now.
[D-HECC] EC.135.3H RThaiAF (c/n 2126), towed from one spot to another in hangar C7
[D-HECJ] EC.135P3H SMURD. Towed outside (c/n 2142)
[D-HECN] EC.135P3H SMURD. The fifth new heli for SMURD was noted in the back of the hangar. The boom was open and the c/n was written there: 2143
D-HTSC EC.135T3 Airbus (c/n 0832). Local flight as "Redfox 29"

Re: Donauwoerth (Airbus) EDPR 2021 (CIV+MIL)
I did some research work on the Ecuadorian helicopters (e.g. looked carefully at my pictures). This is what I think is the correct rundown for the 6 machines:
test serial c/n
D-HBTS (FAE-1251?) 20347
D-HADT (FAE-1252?) 20349
D-HADN (FAE-1253?) 20355
D-HADP (FAE-1254) 20356
D-HADE (FAE-1255) 20357
D-HCBW FAE-1256 20358
For D-HADP and HADE the under side of the overtaped serials was visible. This would perfectly match with 1254 and 1255. The other three are purely assumed. Furthermore there seems to be a c/n change for HADN and HADE (I saw a box next to HADN with 20357, but there seems to be a helicopter parked at the wrong spot). I have two different sources with 20355 for HADN.
If anybody can confirm or add anything I would be glad to hear!

LOG Donauwoerth 27-01-2021
Todays visit was spoiled with starting snowfall so that nothing was readable over longer distances - so it was a bit shorter then expected.

79+60 NH.90NFH Marine (NGEN010), production flight as "Redfox 15"

Re: Donauwoerth (Airbus) EDPR 2021 (CIV+MIL)
Hi Guys,
Probably not the right topic, but I have a really longshot question about Donauworth.
Noted in Februari 2008, during a guided visit, we 3 x NH-90TTH for Oman AF in Halle D5.
Anyone for their numbers?
TIA,
Gijs

And to add another question. Recently the first of 4 new H145M for the Bundeswehr has been delivered to Laupheim, does anyone have a tie-up between the serials (77+08/9/10/11) and there c/n?

Re: Donauwoerth (Airbus) EDPR 2021 (CIV+MIL)
According to my knowledge, 77+08 has been delivered to the Heeresflieger at Niederstetten, not Laupheim. The Luftwaffe unit at Laupheim received 3 civil registered white H145 owned by NHV Helicopters (for details here see my log from 13-01-21).
But, the first real military H145M for the GAF has been noted already, this is c/n 20359 (testreg. D-HADB) in grey colours. This one will become 76+16.
The 77+08-77+11 for the German army are the following helicopters:
D-HBTA (c/n 20327?)
D-HADM (c/n 20338)
D-HBTJ (c/n 20342)
D-HADV (c/n 20350)
Until now I have no actual tie-up between c/n and German serial.
The c/n of D-HBTA was taken from a box nearby so I cannot confirm for sure that it is in fact 20327. I noted in the usually very good serial listing in Flugzeugforum that 77+08 should be c/n 20360.
Maybe Cheryl can confirm for us...
So far my knwledge on this topic!
Rgds,
Alex
Re: Donauwoerth (Airbus) EDPR 2021 (CIV+MIL)
Sorry cant confirm in the moment, so far only have the info 77+08 c/n 20360 (but not 100%)
Re: Donauwoerth (Airbus) EDPR 2021 (CIV+MIL)
Thanks for the info. How many H145M’s should go to Laupheim (exluding the 15 already delivered)?

Re: Donauwoerth (Airbus) EDPR 2021 (CIV+MIL)
I read somewhere that the German Army should receive 48 helicopters, that woud make 12 for GAF at Laupheim if the still unconfirmed order for 60 helicopters is correct.
But just an (educated) guess though...

Strange there is still no confirmed order.

Re: Donauwoerth (Airbus) EDPR 2021 (CIV+MIL)
March 2020,
The German Defence Forces are looking for the purchase of at least 60 H145M helicopters for a variety of missions, including training and light attack. The HEER (German Army) alone has a requirement for 48 H145Ms; the Luftwaffe (GAF, German Air Force) and the German Navy need around 16 H145Ms between them.
