During this cold winter day a Chinook of the Royal Netherlands Air Force was performing some sling action somewhere on the GLV4. The helicopter made almost for 2,5 hours sling flights. The helicopter involved was the D-106 which is also know as the "Porcupine". The helicopter belongs to the no 298 Squadron which is based at Gilze-Rijen where it is part of the Defense Helicopter Command (DHC). Air Mobile Forces were involved to attach the sling loads to the hook of the helicopter. The training started with the lifting of small vehicles and ended eventually by lifting multiple heavier vehicles at the same time.
