Re: Donauwoerth / Airbus (EDPR) 2020 (CIV+MIL)
LOG Donauwoerth 25/08/20
my first visit after my summer holiday to Finland and the Baltics (will post a log of it in the "Spotting Rest of Europe" section later).
78+28 NH.90TTH Heer towed into F8 (maintenance visitor)
79+22 NH.90TTH Heer/IHAZ departed to Wunstorf as "Heli 120", maybe crewferry for 7939
79+39 NH.90TTH Heer departed to Wunstorf as "GAM7939". Could be the delivery flight to IHAZ.
79+59 NH.90NFH Marine complete. towed into F8
84+52 CH-53GS Lw/HSG64 inside hangar E7
84+85 CH-53GS Lw/HSG64 towed outside of E7 for engine test
85+01 CH-53GA Lw/HSG64 inside hangar E7
[D-HADF] BK.117D2 Heer overflying as "Redfox 24" on a training flight from and to Augsburg (=77+06/20281)
[D-HBTJ] BK.117D2m ???? engine test, c/n 20342. This one produced a real headache to me. At first sight I thought I also saw my first Ecuadorian AF machine but this one looked totally different to the one which was noted before (D-HADT with titles). It had a three tone camauflage outfit (not the two tone that D-HADT had). But I really don`t know which air force will get this one (personally I do not know any other firm orders for the H145M apart from the Ecuadorian ones). From the camouflage it looked like a German one but the planned order for additional ones is not confirmed I thought. If anybody could shed any light into this I would be glad to hear!
[D-HCBN] EC.135 Truaid.in engine test. Finally after several years I can add a c/n for this one which has not been delivered for unknown reasons: 1251
[D-HCBT] BK.117D2 Policija Ukraina (serialled 02 blue). C/n unknown so far. Was towed into hangar after testflight just as I arrived.
[D-HMBF] BK.117D2 Policija Ukraina f/c, towed outside of C7 for an engine test (serial 01 blue / c/n 20331)
???? EC.135.3H SMURD the forward part of a SMURD 135 was visible between some hangars. Should be D-HCBD/2123

Re: Donauwoerth / Airbus (EDPR) 2020 (CIV+MIL)
LOG Donauwoerth 02/09/2020
It took some time until it was possible to log in to the messageboard again, I needed to reactivate the good old Internet Explorer to do so. But I didn`t want to withheld what was probably my best visit here within the last 10 years (nearly 30 helicopters in 2 hour time including some rather interesting ones!):
74+51 Tiger UHT Heer maintenance visitor. Towed outside of maintenance hangar, missing rotors.
74+62 Tiger UHT Heer maintenance visitor. Sitting rotorless in front of Tiger maintenance hangar in the west
78+26 NH.90TTH Heer shortly outside when 79+40 was pulled out of F8
78+32 NH.90TTH Heer maintenance visitor. Towed outside of F8, missing rotors.
79+40 NH.90TTH Heer production flight
79+56 NH.90NFH Marine visible in hangar F8
79+58 NH.90NFH Marine towed outside of F8
79+59 NH.90NFH Marine towed into F8

89+63 Sea King Mk.41 Marine/MFG5 maintenance visitor (visible inside hangar E7)
[98+51] NH.90NFH Marine (=79+51), visible in hangar F8
[D-HADD] BK.117D2 Ramco Systems Ltd. f/c (towed into delivery hangar C9. Wears white/metallic brown c/s. Future reg was overtaped and hard to read but should be VT-ARI. c/n unknown so far.
[D-HADE] BK.117D2m Hungarian AF another new Hungarian AF H145 doing a production flight. Unfortunately no hungarian serial nor c/n known by now.
D-HADX BK.117D2 Airbus shortly towed outside of hangar (c/n 20001)
[D-HADZ] BK.117D2m Serbian AF still sitting inside hangar C9 (should become 14503/c/n 20246)
[D-HBTJ] BK.117D2m I am more and more convinced that this one will go to the German Armed Forces. The camouflage looks very much like the one used by the NH.90s or CH-53 and the roundel on top of the fuselage is overtaped with a big sqare sticker ((like it was done on the other german H145). c/n 20342
[D-HCBB] EC.135.3H all white towed onto calibration platform. C/n unknown
[D-HCBC] EC.135.3H all bright yellow production flight. c/n and operator unknow, but could be another one for China

[D-HCBR] BK.117D2m Hungarian AF production flight. No hungarian serial applied but c/n is 20320. Hafd some special armament mounted, including a machine gun pod.
[D-HCBT] BK.117D2 Policija Ukraina towed into D10 (c/n 20346), serial 02 blue also applied unmasked
[D-HECC] EC.135.3H RThaiAF f/c towed into delivery hangar C9. c/n 2126 reported by Scramble. Is in overall light grey c/s plus titles+roundel
D-HMBE BK.117D2m Airbus demonstrator, visible inside hangar (c/n 20177)
unidentified helicopters include a SMURD one in the back of a hangar (should be 2123 D-HCBD) plus a Hungarian AF BK.117D2m in the same hangar.
