Interesting and impressive log, Bruno! Is there a reason behind it that Orleans was selecte over Chateaudun? I recall Chateaudun was always preferred because of the runway heading being the same as the Champs d'Elyse?!

Maybe because of the closure of Chateaudun well underway, they decided not to use this airfield anymore?

I already wondered why "Jedi0023 " flight was descending at 10.32 on 2010-06-30 into Orleans...

Is it known if Creil and Evreux will be used again the 14th of July?

You're right, for few months there is no more flying activities in Chateaudun.
Is it known if Creil and Evreux will be used again the 14th of July?
Last year, most of the fighters took off from their homebase instead of Evreux as usual except for the ones from Mont de Marsan and Nancy were there.
No idea about the helo...sorry

Wasn't Chateaudun handed over to the local district last year for the symbolic sum of 1 Euro?

They were on the ground according to pictures shared by the base on facebook.
The base also said in the comments that they will NOT be gathering at Orleans for the actual parade.
Today there would be a second rehearsal btw.

No, just some leader of different boxes landed after the "défilé". In the case of Orléans rehearsal, just one Rafale C, one Rafale M, a Mirage 2000D and an Alphajet landed after practice.
A400M, KC-130J, Casa 235, CL415 and Q400 landed too, and helicopters as well.
