During the air show on Iruma in 2019, the Flight Check Squadron of the JASDF was also demonstrated.
This unit employs a number of recognizable bat onions that can be recognized by the red and white blocks
on the tail. The unit provides inspections and calibrations of airport equipment. The unit is equipped with
the U-125 and the YS-11 for these tasks. The YS-11 is currently one of the oldest operational aircraft in
the country. There are only a handful of planes left of this type. Thanks for watching this video
