LH 744s to Twente

Goodday,

I see a rumour on a facebookpage about aviationtags that the 747-400s:

D-ABTL will arrive on the 4th of June
D-ABVO on the 5th of June.

I can not see if the source is valid though

Via deze website, wordt de fleet van LH bijgehouden.

Het zou gaan om een total van 5 747's heb ik gehoord. waarvan inderdaad de eerste 2 naar EHTW komen op donderdag en vrijdag. Het gaat om een phase out, dus onduidelijk of dit om storage gaat of om te scrappen.

ABVO komt uit PEK waar hij heavy maintenance heeft gehad, dus ik vermoed dat het gaat om storage.

According to AELS, no 747s are destined for them. So they will come to EHTW for storage only.

Confirmed by AELS in the media that they did not purchase the 2x 747.

Correct me if I am wrong, but in this list the D-ABTL is not marked for phase-out at ENS anymore.

D-ABVO is still on the list for the 5th of june.
D-ABTL is back on the list for the 6th of june.

@Niek, the article only speaks about AELS. I believe they are only going to be parked here, till they are sold to another party.

D-ABTL is scheduled to leave EDDF to EHTW at 09:10L 06.June as DLH9888.
