Video Stabilization Test with Samples

Post by Redskin301 »

All,

Here a small test I want to show you on how stable you can make a video with Premiere Pro and After Effects.
For this video I have used After Effects to track motion. With this option you can stabilize the position of the
footage and the rotation. As a reference I used the threshold of the runway of Hyakuri. I never realized me that
this is all possible with the combination of these two software programs of Adobe. Video one is the original RAW
video which shows the shaky footage. Video two is the corrected and stable version. And yes you will have to
crop off the edges of the video to keep it fully in the frame. I am quite happy with this lessons learned today!!!

Here the unstable version (original RAW video)

Here the corrected video with premiere pro and after effects:

The person in this clip explains how its done:

Warp Stabilizer in Premiere Pro does the same job without having the scene to be opened in After Effects.
