Hai,
Does anybody know if they are on deployment at Luke, or are they enroute?
If on deployment, how long will they be at Luke?

We are currently in the area of Phoenix.
TIA.

Wouter,
As you are currently 'in the area of Phoenix' will you be reporting the serials of the RCAF Hornets please?

According to the official Luke AFB calendar (available on luke.af.mil) the Hornets are at Luke all the way through March 4!

That wing calender is very interesting indeed! You'll find that Kelly F-16s will visit last week of Feb and first of March as well.

Besides, 62nd FS is apparently heading to Finland soon....

62nd FS to Finland is for the fighter replacement programm. Expect two aircraft only, flown by Lockheed Martin(?).

Still eleven CF-18s here on the evening of 10th February. If it had been a sunny evening, I'd have read all 11. Alas it was dark cloud and heavy rain. I did manage:

CF-188A: 188739, 188760, 188781, 188782, 188786, 188787, plus three (one of which ends in a '2').

CF-188B: 188938. The other is in special marks with black and orange on the fin.

Log from a quick visit Feb 18 ~12:30-1400, flying were:

LF F-35A's: 5050, 5065, 5077, 5078, 5081, 5083, 5107
Dutch: F-003, F-005, F-008
Norwegian: 5088, 5110, 5146
Italian: 32-01

Plus Canadian CF-188's:
188739, 188760, 188786, 188797, 188933, 188938

I also received a friendly visit from one of Maricopa County Sheriff's Department's finest, but not to check me out as I first thought. Turns out he was a fellow enthusiast and a former F-14 mechanic in the US Navy!
