Getaffe A330 MRTT list

Post by Kitihawk »

Good evening all,
On 5th Feb this year I did a daytrip to Madrid Barajas from my home airport of Dublin. While on approach to the runway, I saw Getaffe to my left with approx 10 A330MRTTs on the ground.
Is there any way of tying any of these up?
Also, on landing at Barajas, I noticed another A330MRTT at the hanger complex, again, does anybody have a tie up for that?
Kind regards
Paul.

For the Getaffe ones, that would require a read-off from someone on the ground. Depending on the state of the MRTT's you could also look at all the outbound movements that arrived before the 5th of Feb but that might be less realiable.

Hi Paul, 10 is a high number, I think that maximum seen there is around 7, maybe you added 3 old engineless 707s sitting there. In any case for that and the one at Barajas you better check the forum entry:
viewtopic.php?f=45&t=143280&hilit=legt
lot of info exchanged those days and data from loggers, I'm sure you will sort the info you need.
As an extra you can check my photo album for Getafe with some of the important movements, they are ordered by date at:

TK.17-1 / 47-01
T.17-3 / 47-03
TM.17-4 / 47-04 are lying in LEGT, some of them without engines and even one without tailfin
T.17-2 / 47-02 is at LETO with many parts missing since they were withdrawn of service from Air Force.
