I was there today and instead of being greeted by a telephone number this was posted.
I hadn't made any appointment, and just called the number I found online, and the owner let me in without any problems, but it might change.

Having emailed as instructed to gain access and received a replay to confirm access, follow up mails went unanswered,
I arrived this morning to at 08.30 to find the gate open, so went in and parked up, at about 10.00 the land owner arrived to say hello and collect his money(and some sweets we brought for him)
So I don't think you need to call him anymore just a mail and then maybe a confirmation on the day or just before
He is a very nice man so let's keep him on our side and abide by whatever rules he puts in place
