Hello

Maybe stupid me, but why do airliners cancel flights for a public transport strike? I mean I can not Imagine my flight to ATH for example would be cancelled if the metro in Athens is on a strike. I would not see that as a good reason and nevertheless take a taxi (ok for expensive but hey still I get to my hotel). Or do I miss something else?

Er is onvoldoende infrastructuur om alle inkomende en vertrekkende passagiers per auto van en naar de luchthaven te laten komen.
iedereen moet over 1 rijstrook naar de vertrekhal. De aankomsthal op de begane grond is niet toegankelijk met de auto.
Mogelijk zal de politie de afslagen op de snelweg gaan afsluiten als de files voor de terminal de snelweg gaan bereiken.
