But everything is booked and most is paid.
And I'm looking forward visiting the south of France.
Weather for Thursday looks okay. Maybe the sun can push back the clouds a little bit on Friday to Saturday.

Never trust weather forecasts for 6 days ahead anyway... I have been to many events with bad forecasts, and then it turned out to be sunny for a large part of the day after all. So no reason for me to cancel!Canberra TT.18 wrote:Weather forecast doesn't look good

I'm absolutely not considering cancelling, though the forecast is consistent overr the last week that a massive front will hit the south of France and MdM is absolutely the worst spot. So: How do you keep warm and drybetween the runway and the taxitrack..Bunzing wrote:Never trust weather forecasts for 6 days ahead anyway... Does anyone have experience with the „French hospitality of Gendarmerie“ in the Mont-de-Marsan approach during the week?

I found the most significant problem to be the armed soldiers in the jeep that drives around the perimeter track? Certainly not to be messed with.

i don't know for the first question but for the second, with my contact, there is not qatari rafale's at MDM.
this week only some go and stop on the taxiway are seen, but good view because the runway is the 05 (this morning it was the QA210) , expect big activity next week, begin May 20

"External" participant will, probably, be the Rafale solo display and maybe the Patrouille de France as they are flying on saturday for the family day.K-9 wrote:Does anyone know if external participants fly from Mont de Marsan too ?

No Qatar Rafale. They are based in Bordeaux and not MdM and probability to see them is close to 0.
But considering the expected weather, everything should be 0
