According to press-reports a Global 5000 of the Luftwaffe suffered a runway excursion in Berlin-Schönefeld this morning.

According to https://twitter.com/Team_Luftwaffe/stat ... 8239564800 the aircraft returned after take-off, due to a malfunction.
During landing both wings hit the ground.
Apparently the aircraft was supposed to return to Köln-Bonn, after maintenance in Schönefeld, when the problem occurred.

These aircraft (and the A350’s) were being paid for by other departments, not by defence. This way, they want to relieve the defence budget.
