Anyone an idea about the ID of Catalina VP-PBS (code 'P') which visited the Valkenburg open day of 1997? It is in my log and it is in the Scramble Air Show Report, but other than that I can't find anything on the Internet.
Thanks,
Stephan

The days when we were young (and adventurous?) and oldies still serving.
Maybe this nice illustrated background (hi)story might be of help:

Aaaaah okeeeee, VP-BPS even rings a bell all of a sudden. The coincidence was that I made the same error in my personal log as Scramble did in its Valkenburg showreport, typing VP-PBS instead of VP-BPS. That clarifies a lot, thanks all!
Best regards.

This aircraft was seen at Soesterberg as well in the first week of may 1995, during 50 years of liberation memorial flights. Also white RAF plus roundels and 9754 P as well. It was reported as VR-BPS iso VP-BPS
