According to a Dutch newspaper (Trouw) the USAF has been using their forward operating base at Curacao more intensively recently. This is due to the situation in Venezuela. A picture shows two E3 AWACS and at least one KC135 on the FOL apron.
Anyone got more details?

Well, we have seen and heard that before whenever something was going on in Venezuela, often fueled by the Venezuelan side. So far it never approved to be true.
The aircraft mentioned are part of a regular rotation schedule, so I hope Trouw has checked there facts....

The main (only?) reason for these visits has always been drug trafficking. Their presence related to the situation in Venezuela is too much credit for Maduro if you ask me.
