Re: RIAT 13-15 July 2018
I thought Gietje's list was of the fly by on Saturday, but he was listing Sunday's fly by tails. On Saturday the two you mention with XI(F)Sqn were not in the flight. Sorry for the mix-up with the dates.Gietje wrote:ZK304 and ZK354 carried XI(F) Sqn markings.Stephan Lodewijks wrote:ZK342 had 6 (F)Sqn markings, the others had no unit markings.BrizeWatcher wrote:RAF Typhoons on Sunday were: ZK342, ZK353, ZJ914, ZJ918, ZK354, ZK383, ZK304, ZK312 & ZK381.

So, on Saturday these were the aircraft, with ZK342 being the only one with markings (6 (F)Sqn to be precise)
ZK342/342 6 (F)Sqn, 121st EAW
ZJ939/939 nm
ZK346/346 nm
ZK331/331 nm
ZJ942/942 nm
ZK353/353 nm
ZK316/316 nm
ZJ914/914 nm
ZJ920/920 nm
Hope this helps.

..somewhat. Serials of saturday's Tiffies were already reported on page 7 (by me), but I did not mention the 6sqn badge on the lead aircraft

Here are a few c/ns checked during RIAT.
Again, nothing earth-shattering.
Designations not bracketed are exactly as written on the plate
I have listed the "plate date" when known (this can be either a build date or an acceptance date, it varies from type to type)

Re: RIAT 13-15 July 2018
Good evening,
Going through Some of my RIAT pics I came across a picture that I took of an overflying grey C-130 during the Finnish NH90 display on sunday. It has an American roundel and 'BH' under one wing and code '810' under the other which should make it a US Marines KC-130J.
It was followed by another C-130 but I had just switched to a smaller lens so I didn't take a picture unfortunately. Did anybody else? The Hercs were clearly visible and easy to hear.
Kind regards,
Per

These were outbounds from RAF Northolt where they had supported the HMX-1 deployment for Trump's UK visit.Per wrote:Good evening,
