There will be Mirage 2000D's on static, Mirage 2000D's in hangars and 2 Mirage 2000D's flying! Perhaps a Rafale as well. What else do you want?

But seriously, I expect some info will come out later this month. They are busy arranging everything.

Does anyone have more info which foreign military aircraft are flying at the Nancy air show? At the fosa website currently only the French aircraft are mentioned.

They show foreign aircraft for static so it might as well that there a no foreign aircraft in the airdisplay.

Just a short question about your experiences regarding airshows at Nancy in the past:

Is there any chance to find a spot in the village of Ochey or will this area be entirely closed by the authorities?
Regarding the runway direction I am not too happy with the sun situation and consider to find another spot outside.

I'm also considering this. Thinking of one day inside and one outside. My guess would be if you are there early in the morning (really early) then you might get pretty close. They probably won't seal off the entire village I hope.

Predicted wind direction is (E)NE, so expect runway 02 in use during the show weekend, not ideal from outside. Also expect a lot more traffic on that side, as the D974 will be the main road leading to the show. North side (D904) should be more accessible, especially when approaching from the north. Better be on base I'd say, and make the best of the good light in the morning and be creative in the afternoon..

According to a message on fosa.fr, the timing of the flying displays on saturday has been altered to accomodate the people (probably including aircrew ) that want to watch the 16.00 World Cup match France-Argentina. The Rafale solo display and the Patrouille de France will now perform BEFORE 14.00 lt instead of closing the airshow. However, the flying display as such WILL continue until 18.00 lt. This just MIGHT lead to a lot of spectators departing before 16.00, leaving the photo opportunities at the static for those of us not (that) much interested in football..
