LOG Donauwoerth 19/12/2017
My last visit for this year produced again some new choppers and additional information:
[98+56] NH.90NFH Marine. testflight. Factory code is NGEN002 which makes it the future 79+52. c/n was reported as ..97 so I guess it must be "1397" (needs final confirmation of course)
[D-HADU] H145 all dark yellow c/s. Fitted with some EMS eqipment (floats, winch etc.) Production flight (c/n 20181)
D-HADX EC.145T2 Airbus testbed (inside hangar C9)
[D-HECA] Juno HT.1 RAF, engine test (c/n 2042)
[D-HECG]/PP-ARY/08 H135T3H Policia. Handover ceremony in hangar C9 and obviously will be delivered before X-mas! (c/n2035)
[D-HECK]/PH-TTR H135(T3H?) all bright yellow c/s. Acceptance flight. I think it will be delivered also in 2017 c/n unknown so far
[D-HECN] H135 all yellow c/s (same scheme as D-HADU]
[D-HOUR] EC.645T2 inside hangar C9
D-HTSC EC.135T3 Airbus testbed (primer, c/n 0832). flown over from Ingolstadt.
G-DEWF H135 Babcock (all red c/s, c/n 1269). On the ramp, later towed back into hangar. I guess also this one will be delivered before this week.

I wish everyone happy christmas days and a good start for 2018!

I need some help everyone. I went by Donauworth today for the first time during a working day. I had trouble finding anywhere to park my car that seemed ok (legal) and I am also unsure of where is ok to stand to take pictures without being harassed. Can anyone shed some light on these subjects for me?

I would like to go back again on monday. Is there typically a decent amount of flying on mondays?

Oh almost forgot, I saw two aircraft flying but was only able to catch one.

[D-HADA] H145 Previously noted as being in primer, now in a red and white scheme. Has marking of "Rega 1414" on front door Seems to be red body with white cross inlay (Swiss company?) was performing hoist operation tests.

Hi, parking can be done next to the little power station house immediately on the right after going under the bridge when you passed the airfield entrance (driving south). Hmmm, sounds complicated like this, but those are the coordinates: 48 42 17 N, 10 46 18 E.
As for standing, everywhere outside the fence is ok. Best spot would be on the higher ground just north of the spot for parking, so next to the parking lot of Airbus. Nobody will bother you there normally. Have fun!
Cheers,

Are you talking about where the red arrow is pointing in the picture?

There is no picture, at least not on my screen.... But put the coordinates in Maps or Earth, and you'll clearly see what I mean.
