Re: Baarlo & Kessel (collection)
Hi,
Westland Whirlwind HAR.3 XG576/CU-590 seems to have found a new home.
Last week it arrived at the Foets company in Paal-Beringen (Belgium).
The plan is to lift onto the roof of their building for use as an eyecatcher.
In the near future they will also get a Fiat G91 (source unknown) and T28 Trojan (acquired in the USA)

Re: Baarlo & Kessel (collection)
Laurent,
Should be XG576.
The G-91 could be the one that is preserved in Tessenderlo.
Ciao

Re: Baarlo & Kessel (collection)
Is the number of the Lynx at the container XZ176?
Also noted today was a F-104 with German serial 26+44. This one went to Turkey, anyone for the correct number?
Thanks in advance

No, its XZ641(/A; this letter can still vaguely be seen on the pax door). This was checked and reported on the previous page. XZ176 is at Wieringerwerf.

I understand there is a "new" Alpha Jet as well, 40+51 from Bentlage, can somebody confirm this? And is it visible from outside by any chance?

Re: Baarlo & Kessel (collection)
Thanks! That site gives another interesting bit of info, it says that F-104 23+01 is at Baarlo now and even has a recent picture of it taken inside. EMOOS however says that the cockpit of 23+01 went to Germany (Waldbrunn) and the website http://www.916-starfighter.de/Large/Pole/2301po.htm seems to confirm this. Obviously the cockpit of 23+01 can't be at two places at the same time, so the question (I think) is: which cockpit is in Waldbrunn??

Re: Baarlo & Kessel (collection)
After my last visit on 20.10.2018 I compared old pictures with new ones. I came to the decision that the 26 + 44 can only be 26 + 30 ex MST. The reason is the "23 + 01" = 26 + 30 was seen in July 2018 at Baarlo with 23 + 01 license plate which was replaced. But the hull is the 26 + 30 recognizable compared to earlier pictures.patrick dirksen wrote:Thanks! Furthermore I saw two F-104 hulls in Kessel once (24+89 with fin) training aid code C054 readable and 1 unknow F-104 without back part (the real 23+01???).
Who can help?

Re: Baarlo & Kessel (collection)
Hi, I try to follow you, but am not sure whether I do. Are you saying that the aircraft marked as 23+01 on the Eurodemobbed site is actually 26+30, and that this one is now painted as 26+44?
Cheers,
