On March 15th we noted at Nellis two Thunderbirds F-16's with a three digit code on their inlet on the place were normally the shownumbers are applied.
F-16C 413 (could be 91-0413)
F-16D 479 (could be 91-0479)
Other Thunderbirds F-16's were carrying their shownumbers. Is this new? (what would be a very positive development) or are these three digits just for the training season?

Re: question Thunderbirds
They only wear these when practicing so the assumed serials are correct
