ILA Berlin 25-29 April 2018

Looking to go to the above late April in 2018 I believe.
Is there transport from the terminal to the show and does the static stay for the public days or does the good stuff go early like Farnborough?
Any info on entrance fee on public day?

Been there twice, flying in with Ryanair. Free shuttle busses from terminal to show-area. Most participants stay for the public days, and some extra Bundeswehr participants arrive for the weekend. Entrance fee I don’t remember...

The first highlights:

Lockheed Martin has a world premiere with the CH-53K
The manufacturer also wants to show the F-35 Ligtning II and the C-130J Hercules in flight

Kawasaki will show his C-2 transport aircraft and the P-1sea reconnaissance aircraft

Two years ago there were free shuttle busses from/to Schönefeld Airport and the Railway station next to the Airport (DB; S-bahn; U-Bahn). There was also a paid Bus shuttle (10€) direct from/to the ILA from/to Tegel Airport.

There are now strong rumours Berlin may see a FLYING
Ilyushin IL-2 Shturmovik
during ILA 2018.

Duxford Flying Legends is also rumoured for a week or so, now.
