July 13 till 15, featuring 100 years of the RAF. This year is three full showdays.

Friday should see a mass RAF flypast, a Royal review of aircraft and a flying F-35B. Also it is claimed that parking will be different compared to the last couple of years, as some on-base parking places is anticipated to be needed for aircraft.

a little info: Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, Canada and UAE will attend with aircraft.

next to that.... rumour goes that the USAF will send out a/c from squadrons that used to fly a 100 years ago too e.g. 107th FS, 1st. RS, 2nd ARS, 9th BS etc. etc....

one thing is for sure... this RIAT will blow a lot of minds........

Guys, tickets are for sale now. Apparently the big RAF flypast/100 years celebration is planned for the Friday (which is now a full show day), so be sure you buy tour tickets in time if you plan to visit that day. Good chance tickets will run out fast this year...

Not in 2018, the Friday is a full day;

"THREE FULL DAYS
RAF100 at the Air Tattoo will be a full three day event, with over 7 hours of amazing flying on all three days. Friday will be a day not to miss, featuring a Royal Review of aircraft, a 7hr+ flying display and dramatic flypasts to celebrate the Centenary. Due to the nature of this event, flying participants may be different on each day."

- AJS 37 Viggen
- J 35 Draken
- J 32 Lansen

Historic Vampires Join Celebration

Plans for the international celebration of the RAF's Centenary received a boost today as two civilian owned Vampire jet fighters join the flying display.

The Cold War aircraft, from the Norwegian Air Force Historical Squadron,
will be painted in special Royal Air Force livery
for the 2018 season to mark the RAF's Centenary.

The 1950s jets were some of the earliest production fighters in existence - both of these examples having been licence built in Switzerland.
