Hi All,
I am one of the organisers of the Auster 80th Anniversary Fly-in, which is to be held at AAC Middle Wallop, Hampshire on 7-8th April 2018.
As part of this, we would be interested in celebrating the Austers which were used in Antarctic expeditions between 1948 and 1960.
I've seen images of the aforementioned aircraft painted as A-2, the aircraft used by the Belgians on their 1957-58 Antarctic expedition. I understand it is a travelling exhibit owned by 'a museum in Belgium' but am struggling to find any more details. I'd very much like to get in touch with the owners so as to explore the possibility of having it on display at the event.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Martin Needham
