Every two years the Danish Air Force hosts their main airshow at one of the military bases on the western island of Denmark. In between those two years, a smaller show is held at Roskilde Airport, a small civil airport about 30 minutes from Copenhagen. It has attracted some interesting items in the past although this was my first time going and it brought some interesting items this edition too!
Fast jet action was provided by the Danish F-16 and French Rafale with various military helicopters including the Swiss Super Puma and the Dane's own Merlin aswell as the retiring Lynx and replacement Seahawk. The majority of the rest were warbirds and civilian items which completed a very interesting line-up and the size of the show made for a very relaxed day.
It was also my first time out with a 300mm + 2x converter although my D600 is out of use so it was up to the D90. I also need to go to the gym so I can learn to hold it better...

Re: Roskilde Airshow 2017
Haha thank you! It was my first airshow in two years but I have Sanicole coming up in two weeks so I'm looking forward to some more. I actually really enjoyed the diverse line-up of the show and how relaxed it was - which had been putting me off shows like RIAT for a while.Stratofreighter wrote:Good to see you back again on this forum
