Learnt today that FWIT-instructors will fly this week. Next week (14/18-8) will be a theory-week and normal flying will commence from 21-8 again.Stafhunter wrote:Misschien deelnemers voor de luchtgevechten boven Brabant https://www.defensie.nl/onderwerpen/vli ... rd-brabanthdehaan wrote:Is this FWIT-course starting this week?

From which airfield this Hornet arrived?roberto wrote:HN462 is parked on Zuid-1, most eastern platform southside
I ask this because this Hornet was l/n in June 2012 flying with the test unit.

Did the HN462 fly today tuesday?
Re: EHLW 07-08-2017
Checked with a Finnish spotter and both F18's belong at this moment to 31sqn, test group has no dedicated F18's assigned, they loan them from 11 and 31sqn. But F18's are also not fixed to a squadron, they swap them a lot and even the few squadron markings don't mean a lot.Hans van Herk wrote:From which airfield this Hornet arrived?roberto wrote:HN462 is parked on Zuid-1, most eastern platform southside

That's why I am not looking to unit markings or what. All Hornets are pooled and stay with the squadron fro a longer period until the moment they need overhaul.
A very good indication is the departure airfield saying something on the unit, anyway the pilot's unit.
The test unit also has some aircraft on longer term, but there you see the same situation as with the operational units.
Thank you for the update.

Re: EHLW 07-08-2017
To make things more complicated. Flightplan of the F-18D says it came from Tampere/Pirkkala (EFTP)
Re: EHLW 07-08-2017
Which is the homebase of the IlmaStK. So not that complicated.
