That list is from last week. Things might have changed due operational commitments, or other reasons.
Just wait and see what shows up.

And be grateful they HAVE a spottersday in the first place. Most visitors on saturday and sunday really don't care if a Turkish E-7 shows up or not, or if the aircraft are fenced in, as long as they can take a close look at the ones that are there. We are the exceptions, remember

Understandable, just seems odd that over twice as much is actually showing up on saturday vs the spotters day. Hopefully they'll have good spots along the fence for the photographers on Saturday.frank kramer wrote:And be grateful they HAVE a spottersday in the first place. What is showing up on Saturday? Besides the early arrivals on Thursday everything will show up on Friday!

There will be no flying display on saturday and sunday - this is the offical announcement from the homepage.
So there is no need to wait at the fence during the weekend .
The spotterposition will be the same as five years ago.

Can you take taxi shots from the spottersplace?
Was not there in 2012.
What kind of pictures can you take ? Were the arrangements good for the spotters back then?

For those who cannot go on the base on Friday, I suppose the heathland under the approach for Rwy 27 will be accessible? Or do they tend to close it off?

It was accessible five years ago, but that's no guarantee for this year...

Re: Geilenkirchen open house 1-2 July
Can anyone inform us we have access during the spottersday to the aircraft which arrived already on Thursday? Especially the Italian Gulfstream is for many of us THE highlight of the show..
