Hi,

Can anyone tell which helicopters to expect during Vlootdagen / Navy days in Den Helder?
just the usual NH 90 or 2 or any visitors aboard ships? Can"t find info this time about visiting navies.

I've read somewhere on the net the AH-64D Q-01 should also be there, (can't find the URL)

According to Seawaves.com the Royal Navy will send the HMS Somerset. I don't know if she has a helicopter on board.

And there's an Alouette III on the deck of one of the two Belgian Navy vessels that are present. Saw pictures of that somewhere in the news.

Just a heads-up for who wants to go: The Navy days bit of the event will close at 17.00, the Sail event will go on after that time (well, today not much was happening during the evening, but it was accessible). Sail is North of the vice admiraal Moormanbrug, Navy days is east. Also the fisheries and offshore harbours are mostly Sail (Navy only has Zr Ms Holland there), as is Willemsoord (Belgian (Narcis)and Dutch (Zr Ms Willemstad) mine hunter at the dock where Prins Willim used to be before it had its fire). On Sunday, expect Sail to break up during the day (starting early).
