Re: Stans Buochs 2017
Hello Patrick,
Isn't 10 the A54-010? Was seen also in April in full RAAF c/s still not complete being towed. I know some people that have been there on Thursday. Let me check what kind of information their log contains.

Re: Stans Buochs 2017
I think the Jordanians run up to 290, which means the French start at 291 and 709-FC would be 293?

Re: Stans Buochs 2017
Oops, they are getting 10 in Jordan, not nine.
That messes it a bit up, the four scenarios I had were:
1)
283-292 to Jordan
293-309 to France
310-311 to QinetiQ
> Then 709-FC would be 295, but that scenario has been falsified...
2)
291-292 to QinetiQ
293-309 to France
283-290, 310-311 to Jordan
> Then 709-FC would be 295, but that scenario has been falsified...
3)
291-307 to France
308-309 to either QinetiQ or Jordan
310-311 to either Jordan or QinetiQ
283-290 to Jordan plus either 308-309 or 310-311
> Then 709-FC would be 293
4)
283-292 to Jordan
293-294 to QinetiQ
295-310 to France
> In that case 709-FC would actually be 297, but those were seen at the same time.
Because the 'contsruction number' we use is actually a contract item number (the real 'c/n' / fuselage number that says something about the build order, is on the engine bulkhead), the build sequence can be haphazard with 291 popping up after say 246 and 308 after 297 for example
Also, the time the contract is closed is relevant: if numbers were already allocated or they were building '291' then option 2) or 3) can apply.
Happy hunting!

Re: Stans Buochs 2017
That would make sense indeed, apart from that the c/s doesn't match. It was a black number on a white (or light) background, and that doesn't fit with the other Aussies. And 12 looks good colour wise, but c/n 244 that we saw in primer should become Aussie 11, so seeing 12 in full c/s seems strange.Hello Patrick,

I got a log from Wednesday, so any information from Thursday would be very welcome indeed!
This seems to be a plausible scenario indeed. I had 283-292 as going to Jordan, but as you say those last two might have been allocated already at the time the extra two were ordered. I do wonder where the first two French are though.3)

sn 779, 269, PC-9 for Irlande
Did Ireland order two new/extra ones?
I guess 268 should also be in production
Pieter
Some googling:
https://flyinginireland.com/2016/11/pc- ... confirmed/
https://flyinginireland.com/2017/01/no- ... confirmed/
One is on order:
ex Fuerza Aerea Mexicana (FAM) example ‘2601’, (c/n 669) to become 268
But with 269 it looks a second one is ordered too. Can't find any info on that one. Or 268 is cancelled in some way.

Re: Stans Buochs 2017
As far as I know, Irlande ordered one aircraft as a replacment for the PC-9 who crashed on 12 october 2009.

Re: Stans Buochs 2017
Tuesday 02nd May,
The next 2 PC-21s for the RAAF have departed here (A54-003 and 4) and as I type this (at 07:00Z) they have just departed VGEG-Chittagong and are likely to be night stopping at Bangkok Don Muang this evening before departing to Seletar, Singapore tomorrow.
I guess these departed here on Friday 28th April.
