The Portuguese Air Force in the next two weeks will be involve in his 9th military exercise Real Thaw 2017, starting today 5th till 17th March.
Beja Air Base will be the command headquarters and the Seia airfield will operate as Tactic Air Base to support the operations that will happen on that area of Portugal.
This military exercise involves all the Portuguese Armed Forces, Air Force, Army and Navy and will be 4 countries at the exercise too.
United States, Denmark and Netherland with Forward Air Controllers (FAC);
NATO: E-3A AWAC
From France: E-3A AWAC
From Spain: C-212 Aviocar and EF-18 Hornet
From Holland and Belgium C-130
From United Estates C-130 and MV-22 Osprey
And from Portugal: C-130; C-295; EH-101; P-3C cup+; Alouette III; Alphajets and F-16AM
So, the next two weeks will be very active here in Portugal with this Military Exercise, and a Spotter day next 2nd March at Beja Air base.

At this time, the french E-3 is scheduled to operate from his home base in France.
