Seen departing on ADS-B.

A check and this (ex) Ramstein C-130J should now be with the 48th AS. The RCH callsign should mean it was not a 37th AS bird.

Since then, the real reason for being at Mildenhall today, C-12/Beech 350 15-01584 calling Army 51584 has arrived from Keflavik (BIKF) at 13:04.

Other visitors on the ground here when the "C-12"? landed (and the C-5 that arrived later),

85-0007 bl C-5M 9th AS 436th AW RCH172 arr 14:??
86-0030 bl KC-10A 305th AMW
08-8198 y C-17A 437th AW RCH982 departed 16:34

15-01584 departed around 15:00. It should be somewhere 'south and east' of here by now.

Apart from the unit, is she still sporting bl/wh and RS marks?

Bennie,

I heard the C-130 depart, and as I was looking for inbound the C-12 on ADS-B just out of sight of the base, was unable to see the markings.

I should have realised it was the Ramstein bird that went back from the RCH callsign. It was heading east from here, so it could well be at Ramstein by now.

08-8608? Or 07-8608, as 08-8608 does not seem to exist...

08-8606 is the serial. The Scramble DB gives this as 48th AS of the 19th AW 'The Rock' as evidently it was on social media as.

Really....? Check again ;-) 08-8608 does not exist (08-8607 is the last serial given out to the USAF in 2008), 07-8608 is still listed as with 37th AS, l/n Oct16. That doesn't mean that 07-8608 isn't now with the 48th AS. 07-8608 is MSN 382-5622.

Apologies for the confusion with my reply. The aircraft in question is indeed 08-8606 which now sports the Little Rock band as seen at Mildenhall this week. I have amended my original reply.

Dinger.
