Fukuoka 23-24 Nov 2016 (photoheavy)

Post by EC »

After 4 days at the Tokyo airports we flew from Haneda to Fukuoka with a Skymark B737.

Fukuoka is in the south of Japan. It has only 1 runway and there are many photopoints around the airport.
This city has an interesting mix of visiting airlines: Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese, the major airlines from Japan with their regional feeders
plus 2 airlines that only serve this part of the country. The first day was cloudy and we stayed on the terrace of the terminal till about 3 in the afternoon
and then an hour in the landing on the north side of the airport. The second day was a lot nicer and we walked from the terminal along the
runway to the southern part of the runway moving around the runway to end the day at the west side. Hope you enjoy the mix!

The Japanese people like whales, it's the Chinese that like shark fin soup. You need to get your Asian dishes in order ;-)

Although I am not into civilian stuff, it is an impressive photoreport ... great variety.

Especially nice to see the Japanese AF and Coast Guard. 8)
