This is interesting. I can see the Blue Impulse website giving a date of 27 November for the Hyakuri Air Festival, but I can’t see anything at the moment on the websites for Hyakuri Base or JASDF. Doubtless they will appear in time.
A little later than expected (presumably late enough for the squadron movements to and from Hyakuri to be completed), but shows at Hyakuri, Nyutabaru and Naha on consecutive weekends will make a good trip.
Thanks for the update, Uni.

I would assume something similar to Summer Festa 2015; second item from the bottom at this link:

I don't see any aeroplanes...

The event of JASDF Naha on 22 Jul. is only a base-open day.
There will be some P.R.-events, but no ”live” aircrafts.

Well, please look at the event schedule of the JASDF Site(Japanese site).
http://www.mod.go.jp/asdf/pr_report/event/

They write(from left to right) date, event-type, place and the event name (in Japanese).
And the colors of the event-type show;
light-gray: Base-open day. It is the PR-events only so there wil be no static a/cs, no flights.
But it is the chance to take photos of the gate-gurdians.
In summer seasons, they often open the base for the "Bon-Odori"(Japanese local dance festiival).
light-blue: Airshow. It's important for us.
Blue: Anniversary event at the JASDF facilities(like as the RADAR site or schools, no R/Ws. Sometimes fly-by)

With the Naha Base website giving "the second weekend of December" as their show date, I thought they were undecided whether to hold it on Saturday 10th or Sunday 11th. But it seems they intend to do both:
http://www.mod.go.jp/asdf/naha/kouhou_event/index.html

From Google Translate:

Dates: 28 December 10 (Saturday) and December 11 (Sunday)
Location: Japan Air Self-Defense Force Naha base
First held two days!
Such as aircraft exhibition, various attractions, we are planning a number, such as product exhibition.
Information will be announced in a sequential website.
Please stay tuned.
