I stand corrected on the c/n plate; it was on the l/h side of the cab. I didn't really know that. Question remains how the c/n on the engine (1234/IIC6) and the entry in the Scramble database add up to this... Anybody?

Dear all,

First of all many thanks for the adjustments to my list. Much appreciated !
Secondly: Intereresting exchange of information regarding Al.II PB-132 ! So the mystery is still not solved, imho.
At least for me it's unlikely an ex French Gendarmerie helicopter ends up in Bückeburg..........
(I assume after phasing out of the type they got enough airframes left for a conversion to flash an ancient tankbuster themselves)

A few other questions remain, or occured:

The Bell/Dornier UH-1D simulator with the Ausbildingswerkstatt:
72+14 was read on the rear. Could it actually be a simulator converted from the original thing?
Scramble database gives 72+14 as l/n with HFWS(?) in feb01/oct05............

The Bell/Dornier UH-1D preserved near the simulator building.
I've got photogrpahic evidence of 71+97 being painted at the right hand side. Indeed I also saw pictures
of the right hand side showing 71+98. According EMOOS and EuroDemobbed it should be the 71+98, with the
tail of the71+94 attached. But did anybody actually read ever the c/n plate.............??

The Bell/Dornier UH-1D Huey hull at the back of halle 2:
I saw a Huey devoid of any markings, and stripped almost entirely to bare nakedness. Fuselage and tailboom were separated.
No trace of a former ID could be find, at least that is by me. But maybe anyone got those eagle eyes, and did??

A few more adjustments to my list previously posted:
preserved at the main gate:
(76+09) / "as 75+11" Sud-Est SE3130 Alouette II c/n 1217
Ausbildungswerkstatt, outside
D-IIWE Aero Commander 500B c/n 1301-116
static
D-EKAP Piper PA.28R-200 Arrow II c/n 28R-7435178 BundesWehr Sportfluggruppe Emsland, based Rheine-Bentlage

with kind regards,
Remco

ps.
With last years Fritzlar and this years Bückeburg in mind, I sincerely got to admit the new policy of organizing a "Tag der Bundeswehr" is absolutely
admirable ! Geh mal weiter so, meine Freunden !!, I would like to cry out in my best "Rudi Carell" German......
So for next year I save my prayers for an open house at either Celle of Faßberg................ :P

with kind regards,
Remco

"72+14" was also present at Fritzlar last year. When I raised the same question back then, people on this website assured me that this was purposely built by CAE and had ab-so-lu-te-ly nothing to do with the former REAL 72+14. Hey, what do I know?

Also, if I remember my sunday night research session correctly, EMOOS 2014 mentions that the 75+11 at the gate actually is the REAL 75+11; it is supposed to have replaced the former 76+09 that was painted as "75+11" but was supposedly scrapped around 2009 (or was it the other way around :?: ).

Questions, questions... :|

Question remains how the c/n on the engine (1234/IIC6) and the entry in the Scramble database add up to this...
If Iunderstood right, the c/n on the engine is just that: the c/n of the engine! And nof of the aeroplane (helicopter) itself.

To summarise, I believe the helicopters still to be identified from this show are:

The UH-1D at the back of Halle 2

The Alouette II with SS-11's marked "PB+132" &

The unmarked Bo105, possibly with the Lehrwerkstatt, with the remove before flight tag marked 87+10

Any positive id's for these gratefully received, thank you!

http://coptercrazy.brinkster.net has an Alouette II production list. It gives 7521 (c/n 1287 / C121) as a former PB-132, and as preserved at Laupheim, so might this be her? C/n 1390 also wore that code but was exported.

The unmarked Bolkow wore indeed the remove before flight tag marked 87+10 and had stencilled "110" at several places inside, as can be read somewhere else in this thread.
As (6)110 indeed should be 87+10 (the 110th Bo105P produced) I assume 87+10 has to be it's correct ID.

This is a rather confusing exhibit: EuroDemobbed says the Laupheim gate guard is (75+21) / marked as "76+08", while EMOOS2014 states it's the 76+08 c/n 1562.
So whiche source contains the correct information?

We paid a late visit to the tag der Bundewehr and are able to add a few notes to the foregoing:
The UH-1 sim in the Ausbildungwerkstatt carried a CAE c/n plate no.0004 on the rear of the cabin.
The Bo.105 noted as '87+10' also wore '67+10' in large black marker pen writing on the rear cabin bulkhead.
Whilst looking through the door window into hangar 9 about 1620hrs, we were advised by a pilot, quoting from notes on his phone, that the 3 a/c were 79+25/1043, 78+27/1118 & 78+22/1112. The last one could also be identified from a photo of the tail as TGEA 0022.
The UH-1D cabin in hangar 2 has been at Buckeburg since at least 7.15 when it was seen outside during an abortive base visit (identified as the same machine from the 'smilely-like' spray paintrd marks to the rear of the port side.).

76+92 (as "75+01") is inside the Hubschraubermsuem at Bückeburg, and was also seen as such Saturday the 11th.
The 75+01 at Bückeburg static is a travelling exhibit and should be the original gem.
