Re: Wie wat waar vliegt daar - 2016 MIL
Maybe this is of use to someone,
Today at +/- 14:00 an An-30, RA-30078 of the Russian Air Force, made a nice overshoot at the centre of the Haque. At the pier of Scheveningen he made a turn at approx. 7000ft to the coast to make a photorun at former NAS Valkenburg.
Cheers,
Jan.

The Do228 formation also passed by Breda.
Can confirm: klu gulfstream v11 was in formation.
Look at mode-s logs and map, they flew partially the same route.

Compromise is failure.

Re: Wie wat waar vliegt daar - 2016 MIL
Hi guys,
Do-228 "Coast Guard 03" took of from Schiphol, flew into direction Biesbosch and joined up with V-11 at 1.500ft. They proceeded via Kinderdijk to Rotterdam (east-west over the Nieuwe Maas), then northbound to village de Lier. The formation flew - parallel over the A4 - east of the Hague, turned northwest to Noordwijk and Katwijk and then they flew two 360s off coast Scheveningen. The formation turned just south of The Hague again to the Lier and the A4 and Noordwijk. They departed the area over the Northsea and proceeded to Breda via Willemstad. Next part of their flight was Breda-Prinsenbeek where they made two large oval shaped 360s. They departed over Breda to the north of Gilze Rijen to Den Bosch for their final manoeuvres over Eindhoven-Airport. The formation made two approaches to Eindhoven with the Do-228 flying chase during the G4 landing. After the full-stop of G4, Coast Guard 03 flew directly back to homebase Schiphol-East.
All this was made possible by the KLu, inside the Do-228 (that flew constantly with its side door open), was a photographer (me) doing an assignment for the new "Airpower" book that will be released during the KLu open day's at Leeuwarden (10/11 June 2016).
If someone has photographs of the formation, please share!
Regards,
Stephan
