British Airways A319 G-DBCE operating BA2759 Amsterdam – London Gatwick today diverted to Bournemouth this morning due to a runway closure at London Gatwick due to an oil spillage on the runway.

i saw this aircraft turn off the runway (polderbaan) this morning and wondered what the reason was. After 10 minutes in holding the aircraft took off as usual.
