Re: Red Flag Nellis schedule 2016
RF16-1 and RF16-3 will have US units only, while RF16-2 and RF16-4 will include foreign forces.grad81 wrote:Red Flag schedule for calendar year 2016:

Thanks for the FYI. Makes it easy for my debate over 16-1 vs 16-2.... 16-2 it is!Golf Lima wrote:RF16-1 and RF16-3 will have US units only, while RF16-2 and RF16-4 will include foreign forces.grad81 wrote:Red Flag schedule for calendar year 2016:

Re: Red Flag Nellis schedule 2016
Golf Lima,
Thanks for the info on the participants but I disagree as to when they will attend. Traditionally, the January RF sees the participation of USA, UK and Australia. This is because of the participation of stealth assets on the USAs part. The RAF will be attending RF 16-1 and if Australia were to participate next year (they are currently deployed on Ops), then I would expect them on 16-1 too.
Regards

Ok. Things can and do change but 'my info currently has the RAF participating in RF 16-1.

Re: Red Flag Nellis schedule 2016
This is why it pays to actually wait till the list is put out for each RF before making plans.
Re: Red Flag Nellis schedule 2016
Indeed, and why I don't pay too much attention to press releases that don't concern a definitive participation list.

Re: Red Flag Nellis schedule 2016
Is it to soon to know the units for RF16-1?
Re: Red Flag Nellis schedule 2016
You can think of somewhere better to be that week?
