The viewing area at LPL commonly known as the "mound" is apparently to be flattened on or around the 14th of December- although not as good as it once was a number of years ago when I used to frequent it- it was reduced to about a third of it's original size- it has been the meeting place for some of the local Speke spotters.
The locals should be able to park in the General Aviation area- although I fear that too many cars visiting may well put that location in danger as well.
Just another nail in the spotting coffin.
