Merged topics: I keep hearing 'BAF 701' (garbled) talking about 'Rotterdam' on some dutch ATC frequency. Now, I don't know its intentions, but keep your eyes to the sky if you hear a helicopter in the Rotterdam area. I think it's a Sea King or NH90 from Koksijde.

The Sea King entered NL via the STD beacon, which is situated in central Zeeland.

Sea King was visible on approach to EHRD from the city centre a couple of minutes ago. Could not see if it landed at EHRD.

Leuke kist! Ik merk dat er in december wel eens vaker militaire trainingsvluchten op Rotterdam zijn. Zo waren er volgens mij vorig jaar en het jaar ervoor wel een approaches van Herculessen. Is dat toeval of heeft het een reden dat er vaak in december wordt geoefend op Rotterdam?
