Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Nice stuff and even in this time of year, still sunny shots! Like the flyable part the most!

All these phantoms were seen at Larissa, the Puma and Bell 212s at Elefsis

Nice.
Dennis. Do You have pictures or the serials of the preserved A-7 and RF-4 in the shelter area at Larissa"

Re: 4 Aviation Trip Greece 2015
Sadly this is the best I have of them, clearly a single seat A-7 and a SEA camo RF-4E, sadly no ID. Howmany RF-4Es did they operate in this camo? as I can rule out 71762/71764 and 7491. As 71765 is still operational (was at Andravida or at QRA) only 7486 and 7508 are likely candidates for this one as all others have been seen on different locations or are in different camo. This one is here since oct12.

It is 7486. 7508 is preserved at Aktio AB.wamovements wrote:Sadly this is the best I have of them, clearly a single seat A-7 and a SEA camo RF-4E, sadly no ID. Re: 4 Aviation Trip Greece 2015
Why would 71765 be on QRA or at Andravida? No RF-4s are based at Andravida and they would certainly not be on QRA.wamovements wrote:Sadly this is the best I have of them, clearly a single seat A-7 and a SEA camo RF-4E, sadly no ID. Re: 4 Aviation Trip Greece 2015
What strikes me about the pic of the RF-4 and the A-7 is that there always seems to be a bird on top of these preserved birds...

According to commander 348 1 more RF-4 was on QRA and one RF-4 was at Andravida for static display.nellis6 wrote:Why would 71765 be on QRA or at Andravida?
