Over Gerolstein
Today, Thursday August 13th, I saw two aircraft in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, flying near Gerolstein. Around 10.00 hours I saw a C-17A which looked like it climbed out of Ramstein. At a quarter to eleven I saw what looked like a C-12 flying north or northwest. At a quarter to two I saw another C-17A. It seemed to be leaving Ramstein. Around a quarter past eight I saw another C-17, presumably leaving Ramstein. Can anyone help me out with the serials? Thanks.

These are your C17 candidates, no log found of a C12.Withnail wrote:Today, Thursday August 13th, I saw two aircraft in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, flying near Gerolstein. 10.00h RCH030 C-17A 07-7178 305 AMW
13.45h RCH371 C-17A 04-4136 305 AMW
20.15h RCH556 C-17A 01-0188 105 AW
All three were mode-s logged by a Spangdahlem groundstation around your given times and later logged over Holland, so indeed westbound.
Cheers,
Marco
