Good old times at Nörvenich, with the Tonka's back in town. I had to use this opportunity, since it was 14 years ago already I had last visited the base. Luckily runway25 was in use (despite the winds coming from the North East) and that means good photography and even taxi shots. Good weather and good company of my 8 year old son meant a great day out! Flying wasn't bad, although without those Tornado's I wouldn't have gone.

The 12th of June 2016 is a Sunday, and the Germans tend to oganize open days
mostly on Saturday's. Wouldn't Saturday the 11th therefore being more appropriate ?
