Depands on what you want, if you want all aircraft, then East. But you get also a lot more than aircraft alone. West is nice for take off, but you wil miss fighters as they will be to high for a decent shot.Banter wrote:The 'Old Heads' say " west is best " ..........LifelinerOne wrote:So guys, what's your recommendation; P&V West or East for Departure Day?

The "usual" Netherlands' Apache demo helicopter Q-17 will not be at Fairford.

Yes, maintenance.
I presume a "plain coloured regular" Gilze-Rijen AH-64D will now be sent to RIAT this weekend

Does anyone know the IDs of the US Army helicopters that arrived as "DUKE77 flight" please? I think they're all I'm missing from my website!
Thanks!

How are spotting posabilitys on monday? I mean are the aircraft only visible from outside or is there a posability to watch the aircraft departing from inside the base?

Just two Mark? Q-18 has also been reported but I'm not sure if this is a bad tie up from Mode-S?Mark B. wrote:This morning, the 16th, RNLAF AH-64D Q-29 and Q-30 left Gilze Rijen at 11.00lt heading to Fairford. "Wally" and "Kaas"were flying the Q-30.
