SA365 near Pergpignan (France)

Post by Antheii »

Hi,

Last month, we came across a SA365 Dauphin just south of Perpignan. It is on display along the D914, from Perpignan towards Spain, being used used as an eye-catcher for the "Paintball Perpignan" in Theza.
Coordinates are 42.638021, 2.937365

As is obvious from below image, not the whole helicopter is genuine...
But we have some doubts on the remainder; several parts of the fuselage looked 'real', but we also encountered several wooden pieces inside, including the cockpit console.

We suspect this has been a mock-up of some sorts, but we'd like to be certain.

Who has more info on this frame?

Thanks!

Hans
