Munich (EDDM/MUC) 2015 MIL

Post by ehusmann »

A stop over at Munich was looking to be a bit boring, until taxi out for take off to Lisbon. Knowing Munich a little bit and hoping for the right runway, I had choosen a seat on the right and that turned out to be the right choice yet again. The following was seen on the ramps, most probably for the annual security summit.

6 Feb 2015 - Munich Airport
A330 Qatar Amiri A7-HJJ
B737-400 Thai AF HS-CMV, HS-HRH
C-17A 3AS 06-6167 (not 100% sure)
C-32A 1AS 98-0002
C-37A 76AS 99-0402
C-40C 73AS 09-0540
Cl.850 Georgian Gov 4L-GAA
Da.900EX 31St MM62245
G.1159C Oman AF ...
Log created with OPAD trip report

Any help with the Oman Gulf (which landed as we were holding for take off) would be greatly appreciated. Also seen a Azerbaijan B767 (Gov?) and a UAE Gov B737.

According Flugzeugforum, the Omani is 558, the Azeri is 4K-A101, the UAE could be A6-AIN, but it's Royal Jet.

Thanks for the Omani and Azeri (4K-AI01 I assume). The UAE certainly wasn't A6-AIN judging by it current colours. I saw one in the standard UAE gov colours: red and white with the big flag in the tail.
