ex MIL in Alberta, Canada

Post by Bennie »

Noted Sunday May 17th in Calgary at the Aero Space Museum where Voodoo 101021 & Canuck 18126/KE-126.
Elsewhere in town at the RCAF Museum was an unmarked Freedom Fighter (CF-116), which should be 116707.

Enroute to Edmonton a Starfighter (F-104F) can be found in Innisfail at the Canadian War Memorial. She's marked RCAF104 and should be ex 29+17.

In Edmonton 2 more Voodoos (101060 & 17425) can be found, aswell as Canuck 18476 and Starfighter 104651 (CF-104D) at the Alberta Aviation Museum.
All (plus an unidentified Silver Star) were noted here yesterday (May 18th).

The CF-104D (104651) is not a CF-104, but a TF-104G, used to play around closer to home as D-5805 ;-)
Furthermore the Voodoo 17425 is actually 101032 and the unknown T-33 should probably be the 21533.
(see more here)

And if you do have the time, there is another T-33 in town on a pole and als a CH-136 at CFB Edmonton.

Thanks Erwin! Didn't find the Kiowa yesterday, but I can confirm the T-33 to be 21533 indeed.
The TF-104 was gone yesterday!!!
Also present outside was an unidentified Vampire.
