Post by Wijgert IJlst »

Thanks to Edwin (EOS) in the Airshow topic of La Ferte Alais I came across the following interesting V, W&R site about France:

I did find another one, not sure if it was known already:

Can anyone confirm if information is true?

In the La Ferté Alais topic there was also a question about the status of the Musée Delta at Orly. It is closed, a new tramway now runs through the area. However, the Concorde is still there and easy to photograph from a new bicycle path. The Mirages and Caravelle are also still present. The Mercure is dismantled at Baarlo I understand.

In my photo you can just recognize the badge worn by 245, and I'm fairly sure there was another hulk behind this one - I personally don't really care though, sorry.

If you couldn't find them in 2013 then maybe they're even coming back on display. I think the Concorde might stay (too).
